Core stability exercises

The core, or the core stability, of your horse is of great importance to perform the movements in the spine in a controlled way.

One of the most important stability muscles of the spine are the Multifidi muscles, the tiny muscles along the vertebrae of the neck and back. The size of these muscles can decrease with an injury of with backproblems and should be trained to increase in size.

Balance exercises 

There are horses don’t have enough stability in some parts of their body. This can go together with too much movement (hypermobility) in the loins or pelvis. When there’s not enough stabilization in that movement, it can lead to painfulness and irritation of the joint.
